Global Accounting Policy and Advisory Specialist

Salary: GBP150000 - GBP200000 per annum + Bonus and benefits

I am currently partnering with a Technology company looking for a Global Accounting Advisory Specialist. This role will work alongside the accounting Teams which are based across the world and work closely with various Shared Service Centres. This role will be working with senior stakeholders across the business in various locations to support and ensure best practices.

For this role, you will have done something similar previously within the TMT sector ideally or Infrastructure. You will have worked in practice and also at a multi-billion dollar company to be considered.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising on IFRS requirements and explaining the rationale that underlines the accounting.
• Delivering persuasively to influence senior stakeholders across the business.
• Implementing appropriate accounting solutions across the Group.
• Advising on key control considerations to foster accurate reporting.
• Understanding various GAAPs such as US & UK plus local GAAPs.
• Supporting colleagues with discussions with the external auditors.
• Identifying and proposing revisions to the group's accounting policies.
• Becoming a key player in the Group's thought leadership in Financial Reporting.

You will be Practice trained ACA and having worked in different countries is a bonus, along with industry experience from a Financial Reporting role in a Technology company. You will have exposure across the group and business partner with various different functions.

This is very important for my client, and you will occasionally have to travel to various locations around the world where they have shared service centres.

My client goes into the office 3 days a week currently.
