VNI Finance in Glasgow seeks a newly created Global Finance Accountant to join a retained assignment. This role offers a blend of commercial and technical exposure as the finance function develops, with an ICAS/CIMA/ACCA qualified candidate joining a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include month-end, budgeting and forecasting, balance-sheet reconciliations, and development of controls. Some remote work with occasional office presence in Glasgow.

VNI Finance is delighted to bring to market a newly created Global Finance Accountant on a retained basis with our key client in Glasgow.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified professional to work closely with the Global Operations Finance Manager and the Global FP&A Manager in this newly created role.

The role will offer a true mix of commercial and technical exposure as the finance function develops, and it presents a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career to gain broad exposure across the business, working in a high-performing ICAS-qualified team.

The role will cover:

• Month-end accounting and balance-sheet reconciliations
• Budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
• Analysis and management of complex financial data
• Development of financial controls and reporting processes
• ERP optimisation, automation and wider process improvement

Candidate Background

• Recently qualified- ICAS, CIMA, ACCA
• Strong Excel experience

Package:

• Up to £55,000
• Remote working, with occasional office presence in the city centre of Glasgow over the course of a month, roughly 1 day per week
• Enhanced Holiday allowance with Christmas shutdown
