Job Description:

AWS is seeking a world-class sales professional to manage our global customer relationship with one of the largest Retail companies in the world. The Global Account Manager will be responsible for providing global business leadership and management of this account. Responsibilities include building and maintaining key relationships, developing opportunities, monitoring deployment projects, and engaging resources. The role involves defining a CXO relationship strategy, engaging with AWS senior leadership for sponsorships, coordinating reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction. The manager will serve as the Voice of the Customer for the Retail and CPG Business Unit.

The AWS Industries team is dedicated to helping industry customers enable digital transformation, focusing on business outcomes and industry-specific use cases, including product development, sales, delivery, and partnerships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Teaming with customer leadership across various business units to build strategic relationships and articulate a clear vision.
  • Selling at strategic levels within the account and implementing broad strategies for customer acceptance and service delivery.
  • Collaborating with AWS resources such as executives, solution architects, business development, marketing, partners, support, and professional services to support customer interests.
  • Developing formal case studies and references showcasing workloads on AWS.

Basic qualifications:

  • Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C-level executives.
  • Experience in business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management.
  • Extensive experience managing relationships with large retail customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building profitable partner ecosystems.
  • Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans.
