Job description

The role is within the central global team that coordinates media activities across 4 regions worldwide working closely with regional hub teams. The role requires a blend of multi-market, multi-channel media coordination activities, strategy support, client intelligence support, and account management operated by following the Havas Mx Media Experience element of the Mx Process.

The role is a key interface with our global Automotive clients in respect to multi-market campaigns and as such the candidate should be knowledgeable across a range of markets and able to funnel this knowledge and market understanding.

The role requires a dynamic and operational skill set for a blend of multi-market strategic and media coordination activities across different markets. Ideally, we are seeking a candidate with digital proficiency looking to broaden the scope of cross-media skills.

Key to success in this role is experience and the skills and sensibilities of working across cultures, particularly the understanding of working with Asian cultures and businesses.

We need an enthusiastic and proactive candidate who is accustomed to the pressures and quick turnarounds of key account handling across all media.

The candidate should bring digital buying/planning experience and be familiar with key ad tech platforms such as ad servers, DSPs, and social platforms – we are not looking for a trader necessarily, but an understanding of the roles of the technology involved is a must.

Show understanding of the differences in digital and social maturity in different markets and regions.

The role also requires interest in and respect for details, and complex and intricate working processes.

Mission & Responsibilities

  1. Support the central client team to carry out day-to-day tasks and outputs, coordinating inputs from the regional hubs and adding value by checking and validating submitted work.

  2. Ensure highest standards for key client deliverables such as status reports, ad hoc intelligence documents, and media landscape overviews, and proactively suggest improvements in both structure and content for ongoing client reports.

  3. Ensure the smooth running of campaigns respecting deadlines, anticipating milestones and requirements on live campaigns to ensure both client and agency departments are prepared in advance.

  4. Work closely with media vendors to coordinate media recommendations and review proposals to select the best recommendations for a particular campaign.

  5. Support/own the creation of presentations/reports required by the client, including gathering data & information and pulling it together in a clear format.

  6. Provide support throughout the planning process from receipt of brief to post-campaign analysis/quarterly business review.

  7. Manage bi-weekly calls with regional Hubs (APAC, LATAM, and WE).

  8. Support and oversee hubs quality management.

  9. Support the team to provide best-in-class implementation and innovative online and offline solutions in response to our clients.

  10. Support the team in ensuring timely and accurate finance processes.

  11. Keep up with industry trends in the world of digital and OOH, having an opinion, and proactively sharing updates.

Experience

  1. Up to 2 years of experience in a media agency, ideally with international experience.

  2. Understanding of media channels and their roles in a consumer journey.

Soft Skills & Competencies

  1. Clear and precise communication skills both written and verbal.

  2. Comfortable building relationships with clients of all levels and internal teams, and reacting to different cultural practices.

  3. Relationship-building skills internally (local offices and other specialist units (clients and media owners) with the ability to quickly build rapport and establish strong working relationships.

  4. Proactively asking questions to ensure full understanding of tasks and projects.

  5. Proactively identifying and communicating potential “red flags” on own and coordinated activity.

  6. Self-starter with a collaborative working style and a desire to learn and grow in the industry.

  7. Effective under pressure and ability to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail.

  8. Strong knowledge of MS Office packages.

  9. Desire to take ownership of projects and be responsible for the outcomes.

  10. Having a positive and passionate approach.
