Position: Global Account Director – LHH Global Sales

The Global Account Director partners with strategic accounts through client advice to create sustainable impact whilst driving account development and growth at global and local levels.

They work by translating client needs into solutions with support from subject matter experts, leading opportunity generation and client development on national and global levels for strategic accounts.

Their primary metrics include total account sales (global and local), conversion rate to multi-solution accounts, number of sold products per managed account, key account and customer penetration, renewal rates, customer satisfaction, and cross-sell percentage.

Reporting Relationships:

  • Report directly to the Head of Sales, UKI
  • No direct reports

What you will do

The Global Account Director provides consultative services and advice to strategic accounts to identify client needs and opportunities. They support clients with transformation and organizational effectiveness, understanding client strategies at both country and global levels. They assemble relevant client solution teams from LHH and the wider TAG ecosystem to sell and structure integrated solutions.

The Global Account Director owns:

  • The client development strategy for strategic accounts at country and global levels
  • The solution design process for standard solutions and advising on complex projects involving the right stakeholders
  • Driving and coordinating accounts’ strategy across all verticals
  • The final sales and pricing decisions for strategic accounts

The Global Account Director influences:

  • Client development strategy on a national level for strategic accounts
  • Solution design for complex deals (non-standard solutions)

  • Understanding of market and how LHH/TAG solutions fit in, leveraging market knowledge to understand customer needs, demonstrating strong solutions knowledge, and understanding the Unique Value Proposition in the market
  • Driving strategic planning and solutions selling, understanding customer needs, planning strategically, and developing tailored solutions
  • Demonstrating sales discipline, managing pipelines effectively, and leveraging the TAG ecosystem
  • Driving superior business outcomes through data, financial understanding, and negotiation skills

Requirements

Work Experience:

  • At least 10 years in a multinational company in sales, customer success, or key account management at a similar level
  • Experience in business development or key account management in HR services within complex international organizations
  • Proven multicultural key account management experience; experience in selling HR solutions or industry-specific experience in e-Commerce/Retail is desirable

Education: Bachelor's or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or related; MBA preferred.

Proficiency in English and local language; additional languages like French or Spanish are a plus.

Ability to travel 25%

Contract: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week). Must have the right to work in the UK.
