Time Recruitment Solutions Limited is currently recruiting for a Glass Process Operative at a leading glass manufacturer in Manchester (Worsley). You will assist with cutting, taping, quality checks, and preparing products for delivery in a busy production environment.

The role offers Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00 with a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks; overtime may be required. Prior experience in manufacturing or glass production is preferred, and PPE is provided.

Glass Process Operative

Location: Worsley, Manchester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00
Contract: Long-term assignment with potential for permanent employment

The Company

Our client is a specialist manufacturer, installer and distributor of fire-resistant glass and other specialist glass products across the UK.

With sites throughout the UK, they are one of the leading specialist glass manufacturers in the country. Based at their Northern site in Worsley, Manchester, they are currently looking to recruit Glass Process Operatives to join their manufacturing team.

The Role

As a Glass Process Operative, your duties will include:

• Assisting with the cutting of glass to customer specifications
• Taping glass products
• Carrying out quality control checks
• Preparing products for delivery
• Maintaining general housekeeping within the workplace
• Assisting with health and safety procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in glass manufacturing would be advantageous
• A good understanding of health and safety practices in the workplace
• Good communication skills
• A reliable and hardworking attitude
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Working Hours & Overtime

The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00.

• 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• Two 15-minute paid breaks
• Overtime will be required during busy periods

Training & PPE

A full induction will be provided by the client before you start work.

The appropriate risk assessment has been completed for the role, and all necessary PPE will be provided by the client.

Candidates will need to provide their own safety shoes and should bring provisions for their own lunch.
