Job summary

CM recruitment is recruiting a Travel Consultant for a busy retail travel agency in Glasgow. You will sell worldwide holidays face to face and over the phone, tailoring packages to clients' budgets and requirements.

You will meet sales targets, sell packages, cruises, tailormade holidays, flights and hotels, and work as part of a team to contribute to branch targets. The role offers up to £26K plus commissions and benefits, with rotating shifts 5 days out of 7.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within travel sales, as a travel consultant, sales consultant, travel advisor, travel agent or tour operator reservations.
• People with real passion for the travel industry.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Travel geography knowledge

Responsibilities

• Selling worldwide holidays face to face and over the phone, working with each clients budget and requirements.
• Selling package holidays, cruises, tailormade holidays, flight and hotel only, tours etc
• Meeting sales targets and working as a team to contribute to your branch's overall targets
