Job summary

King’s College London’s GKTWFC (Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Women’s Football Club) is seeking an experienced 1st team coach to guide one of the university’s leading women’s squads. The role is part-time and in-person; training takes place on Monday evenings at Honor Oak Park with matches on Wednesdays and Sundays from September to March.

Home venues include Honor Oak Park, New Malden and Bacon College. FA coaching badge is required and strong communication and organisational skills are

Qualifications

• FA level 1 or 2 Coaching Badge required.
• Plan and deliver Monday evening training sessions weekly.
• Prepare and attend weekly matches, including away games.
• Communicate and work with captain and vice-captain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and run Monday training sessions.
• Coordinate team during matches (home and away).
• Support player development and welfare.
• Liaise with club captain and vice-captain.

King’s College London’s GKTWFC (Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Women's Football Club) has one the largest university women’s football clubs in the UK with three competitive teams and a fourth recreational squad.

The GKTWFC 1st team have had an excellent track record over the last few years topping BUCS and LUSL leagues, winning Varsity's and the Macadam Cup.

Last season they competed in LUSL premier competitive league as King’s College London’s official 1st team.

We are looking for an experienced, receptive and committed coach who’s passionate about women’ football to help the team achieve their goals.

Training is on Monday evenings at Honor Oak Park (SE23 1NW) . Matches are on Wednesdays and Sundays, from September to March, kickoff times vary (usually 2pm or 4pm).

Home pitches are Honor Oak Park, New Malden (KT3 5HA) and Bacon College (SE16 6AT).
