Role Overview: Valnet Inc.'s GIVEMESPORT.COM is looking for a Wrestling Lead to oversee the WWE vertical by driving content strategy and execution with support from freelance writers and a social media specialist.

Day-to-day tasks include assigning, writing, and editing articles to ensure quality and optimization.

Expectations include:

• Overseeing WWE content strategy & execution
• Contributing to the creation pipeline for WWE editorial content by writing and editing articles daily
• Fielding and generating compelling ideas for the writing team
• Providing feedback to writers
• Ensuring deadlines are met
• Enforcing article guidelines according to SEO best practices and style guide
• Integrating editorial content into social media platforms to increase engagement, in collaboration with social media team
• Working with management to ensure stable operation and achievement of targets

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge and passion for wrestling
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Experience writing and editing for a sports publication
• Strong understanding of SEO
• Hard-working, results-driven, quick-reacting
• Experience managing or commissioning content
• Keen eye for trending stories and marketing across social media
• Video and/or image editing skills (a plus)
