A leading transportation services company in Shropshire is seeking a GIS Technician to create and manage geospatial data for effective service delivery. This full-time role involves working with local councils and contractors to ensure accuracy in street scene routing and asset information. We\'re looking for a GIS Technician to join our Highways team in Shropshire. In this role you will be a vital part of shaping the future of street scene services by creating, maintaining, and analysing geospatial data that drives and supports effective service delivery.

Location: Shropshire - travel to the office required with some remote working available
Hours: Permanent, Fulltime 40 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per year + benefits

As a GIS Technician, you\'ll work collaboratively with both Council and contractors, combining your technical GIS expertise with operational insight to ensure street scene routes and asset data are accurate, efficient, and practical for both operational and client teams.
