One of Loriens leading Public Sector Clients is seeking a skilled GIS Analyst/Developer for a 6-month remote contract to support a dynamic GIS development team. This is a delivery-focused role ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Python scripts and ArcGIS toolboxes to automate geospatial workflows
• Manage mosaic datasets and Raster Function Templates (RFTs)
• Convert raster datasets to Cloud Optimised GeoTIFFs and manage data in Azure
• Publish and maintain image services and web layers
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure outputs meet spatial data standards
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Python (arcpy)
• Experience with raster data processing and spatial reference systems (e.g., BNG)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Familiarity with Azure Storage, ArcGIS API for Python, and environmental datasets
