Description and Requirements

We are looking for a GIS Analyst to join our Infrastructure Water team in Peterborough.

What you'll do:

1. A strong blend of technical, commercial, and customer-facing skills to promote the use of GIS.
2. A willingness to support end users of our solutions.
3. Team working, the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver results.
4. The ability to manage a wide variety of projects and data types.
5. Experience in Desktop GIS software such as (but not limited to) ArcPro, QGIS, FME.
6. Experience in using ESRI ArcGIS products, particularly ArcPro and ArcGIS Online.
7. Experience of the water/construction industry.
8. A degree or master's with a relevant degree such as Geography or Science, but all degrees will be considered.
9. A keen interest in innovation and problem solving.

What you'll bring to the role:

1. Assist in dealing with issues and queries, acting as the link between the digital platform and suppliers.
2. Creating support documentation for GIS solutions.
3. Research new suppliers and technologies to support the business.
4. Work with internal and external communications to promote the use of digital tools.
5. Improve existing GIS applications and workflows, ensuring they remain fit for purpose and up to date.
6. Utilize existing tools within the ArcGIS suite to build and develop new applications.
