Overview

Skanska, one of the world’s leading project development and construction groups, is an inclusive and responsible business that is helping to build a better society. We are looking for a GIS Technician to join our HS2 main works team in London.

What you’ll do

• Produce creative and innovative GIS solutions using the latest set of tools available within the ESRI suite, and self-developed custom solutions to specific requests
• Integration of 3D BIM models into GIS - data processing and visualisation
• Develop and maintain bespoke GIS interfaces and data to provide user access to complex datasets
• Create mobile GIS applications using packages such as Survey123 to assist in the management of field data collection
• CAD to GIS conversions
• Collaborate with the Survey Team to maintain up to date drone imagery in GIS
• Utilise ETL tools such as FME to promote automated processes
• Use of APIs to integrate data sources
• Use flair and experience to bring new and exciting resolutions for data integration, analysis and visualization
