Job summary

Huntress - Maidstone is seeking a GIS Administrator to join our client's growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a Geography or Geology background who wants a long-term career in GIS.

You will support infrastructure and environmental projects by analysing, mapping and managing critical data with GIS tools. The position offers hybrid working (2 days from home) after training and clear progression.

Qualifications

• Background in Geography or Geology is preferred.
• Experience handling GIS data and maps with GIS tools.
• Hybrid working available after training.

• Infrastructure Management: Supporting the tracking and maintenance of utility networks
• Asset Mapping & Inventory: Creating accurate, detailed maps and maintaining asset records
• Network Planning & Design: Assisting in the design of efficient utility routes and layouts

• Environmental Analysis: Contributing to projects that assess environmental impact and data

GIS Administrator

Salary: £13.89 per hour (£26,791) + holiday pay (Rising to £14.67 per hour / £28,605 after 6 months)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm Hybrid working (2 days from home) after training

We're looking for a skilled and motivated GIS Administrator to join our client's growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in Geography or Geology who is eager to build a long‑term career in GIS.

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting essential infrastructure and environmental projects, using GIS tools to analyse, map, and manage critical data.
