Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3-5, with adaptations for mid-year entrants.
  • Plan and prepare lessons catering to various abilities and interests, including digital fitness tools.
  • Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support individual development, especially for students joining mid-year.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level PE exams, focusing on assessment criteria and sports science.
  • Contribute to curriculum development emphasizing female participation and mid-year transition needs.
  • Organize extracurricular activities and school teams promoting female sports and teamwork.
  • Work collaboratively to create a supportive environment and participate in school-wide sporting initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge in Physical Education, especially in female participation and sports science.
  • Experience teaching Key Stages 3-5, including A-Level.
