Join to apply for the GIG Policy Analyst role at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

This position is a full-time, entry-level role within the Higher Education industry, focusing on policy analysis related to climate change, energy, and sustainable development.

Role Overview

The Policy Analyst will conduct high-quality data-driven research and policy analysis, supporting the Global Impact Group and collaborating with the Global School of Sustainability and the Grantham Research Institute. Responsibilities include preparing reports, analyzing datasets, and engaging stakeholders to inform global policymaking.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in finance, economics, climate science, climate policymaking, climate economics, or a related field by the start date.
  • Excellent economic analysis skills and experience with large datasets.
  • Knowledge across climate change disciplines, especially economics and policy.
  • Experience in drafting and editing reports.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
Benefits

Salary from £42,679 to £51,000 per annum, with potential to progress to £54,730, plus London allowance. The role is funded for three years, with benefits including an occupational pension, generous leave, hybrid working, and training opportunities.
