Job summary

Kinder Nannies & Staff Ltd. is seeking a warm, affectionate German-speaking nanny to care for two children on a sole charge basis. The role focuses on nurturing, daily nursery duties, and encouraging learning, with school runs and after-school activities included.

The candidate should be fluent in German, proactive, and capable of engaging children aged 2 to 5 in developmental activities, both indoors and outdoors. A long-term commitment is preferred and flexibility on start date is possible.

Qualifications

• Previous sole care experience of two children of different ages.
• Outdoorsy, active nanny with initiative and energy; trustworthy and reliable.
• Up to date Enhanced DBS ( DBS Update Service or participate).
• Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate (within 3 yrs).
• Right to work in UK, living within reasonable commute of London SW12.
• Good references for recent and relevant nanny or childcare work and longevity.
• Be able to engage in play at floor level for extended periods.
• Fluent German.
• Driver greatly preferred.
• Non-smoking position.

Responsibilities

• Care for two children on a sole charge basis and nurture their development.
• Get children ready for the school run and manage daily routines.
• Arrange daily activities and playdates for the 2-year-old and school-age sibling.
• School pick-up in the afternoon and supervise after-school activities.
• Take the baby to park and organise indoor/outdoor educational activities.
• Play at floor level with children and support early development.
