A leading energy trading software company is seeking a German Speaking Energy Trading Software Sales Manager to drive new business sales across DACH and Eastern Europe. The role offers remote flexibility and a competitive salary with commission. Ideal candidates will have extensive sales experience in enterprise software within the energy sector, paired with fluency in German and English.
Multi award-winning Power & Gas Trading (ETRM) software house seeks a dynamic German & English-speaking Sales Executive or Sales Manager to lead new business sales across the DACH and Eastern European regions.
This role can be remote, based anywhere in Europe, with travel to meet clients as needed, or based from one of their European offices in DACH or Northern Europe.
Fluency in both German and English is essential.
You will join a well-established, global Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) software company with clients worldwide. As part of their European Sales Team, you will sell SaaS enterprise software solutions to energy trading clients in countries including Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Czechia, Slovakia, Russia, Slovenia, Serbia, Latvia, Estonia, Croatia, Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, Lithuania, and others. Additional European language skills are a plus.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience selling enterprise software in the energy or financial services sectors. Experience in energy software, E/CTRM, renewable energy, data software, or related fields is relevant. This is a great opportunity for a sales professional looking to enter the lucrative ETRM market with a market-leading provider.
You will report to the Global Head of Sales, who has over 20 years of experience in PreSales and new business sales, having sold over €100 million of E/CTRM software globally. He will mentor and support your development, including sales assistance when needed (note: he does not speak German).
Salary: €75-120k / £65-110k basic + 50% OTE + benefits
