German speaking Commercial Assistant
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 plus Bonus
Ref: 746CA

Main duties:
Join our dynamic commercial team, focusing on German-speaking markets, in an exciting opportunity for those eager to kickstart or grow a career in Sales & Marketing. This role is ideal for candidates fluent in German, with a strong desire to learn and develop their professional skills. Prior experience in sales or marketing is not required, as we provide full training on our products and services.

The role:
– Support the commercial team by qualifying new sales opportunities
– Follow up on opportunities generated from marketing efforts
– Connect with executives through phone, email and social platforms
– Assist with promotional efforts for new product launches, events etc
– Identify and understand customer requirements to recommend appropriate products
– Attend trade show events and engage with clients in person
– Prepare regular updates for the managers (DACH, Nordics, and Eastern Europe)
– Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution and reseller partners
– Work closely with management and the marketing team to maximize market impact

Candidate's Profile

– Fluent in German at a business level
– A self-starter who is confident, persistent, and eager to learn
– Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
– Willing to travel regularly to represent the company at events and trade shows
– Previous experience in sales or marketing is a plus but not essential
