Job summary

DarcyBrook Procurement & Supply Chain is seeking a Buyer fluent in German to source components and spares for engineering and manufacturing. You will identify European and global vendors, negotiate prices, and prepare quotations while placing and tracking purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.

You'll collaborate with internal warehouse and logistics teams, maintain strong supplier and customer relationships, and manage inquiries to uphold service standards and quality across the supply

Qualifications

• Fluent German with strong written and spoken communication.
• Experience sourcing components, equipment and spares for engineering/manufacturing.
• Proven ability to negotiate favorable prices and terms with suppliers.
• Proficient in preparing quotations and processing orders.

Responsibilities

DarcyBrook Procurement & Supply Chain are looking to recruit a Buyer who is fluent in German. Experience of sourcing components, equipment and spares from the engineering or manufacturing industry would be highly desirable.

The Role:

• Vendor Sourcing & Research: Identify, research, and establish strong relationships with potential new European and global vendors.
• Commercial Negotiations: Obtain, analyze, and compare pricing structures while actively negotiating competitive prices and favorable business terms with suppliers.
• Quotation & Order Processing: Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations for clients, as well as placing and processing purchase orders efficiently.
• Order Tracking & Delivery Management: Rigorously track and progress purchase orders to ensure strict compliance with customer delivery schedules.
• Logistics & Warehouse Coordination: Liaise directly with internal warehouse and logistics teams to guarantee product quality standards and seamless, on-time deliveries.
• Relationship Management: Maintain high standards of Supplier Relationship Management and Customer Relationship Management while handling everyday customer service inquiries.
