Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our elderly rehabilitation and reablement teams at Lings Bar Hospital. The post involves assessing functional abilities, planning discharge, and delivering treatment programmes across acute, community, and D2A rotations with senior support from Band 6 staff.

The role requires HCPC registration, BSc or equivalent in OT, and a commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

Qualifications

• BSc or equivalent in OT.
• HCPC Registration.
• Rehabilitation experience and MDT working.
• Varied rotational experience with elderly rehab.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and group work.

Responsibilities

• Assess functional abilities and plan discharge home.
• Develop and implement OT treatment programmes for frail elders.
• Collaborate with MDT across wards and community settings.
