Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Occupational Therapist to provide assessments and treatment programmes for frail and elderly patients. The role includes a wide rotation across Acute Hospitals, Community Therapy, D2A and county council work, ensuring seamless discharge planning.

You will work within the Lings Bar Hospital Therapy Team, supporting older adult rehabilitation with supervision and in-service training to develop your skills.

Qualifications

• OT assesses functional abilities (e.g., PADL/DADL, transfers, mobility).
• Uses compensatory and rehabilitative approaches to enable discharge home.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT assessments and treatment programmes to the frail and elderly.
• Rotations across Acute Hospitals, Community Therapy, D2A and County Council work.
• Support development with supervision and in-service training.
