Job Title:Geriatric Medicine Consultant
Location: Romford, Greater London
Hours per Week: Flexible hours 10 – 50 hours
Consultant Rate:£95 – £120

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Geriatric Medicine Consultant to join our client’s esteemed team in Romford, Greater London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to elderly patients. If you have a strong background in geriatric medicine and are passionate about improving the health and well-being of older adults, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

You will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to elderly patients. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of geriatric conditions, both in inpatient and outpatient settings. Your duties will include leading ward rounds, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and developing individualised care plans to address the complex needs of older adults.

You will also perform various procedures, manage emergency cases, and provide support in the geriatric emergency department. Additionally, you will supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical students, fostering a collaborative and educational environment. Your expertise and dedication will be essential in delivering exceptional geriatric care and improving patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Experiences:

• GMC registered
• 6 months NHS experience
• CCT preferred
