Verdantas is looking for a Geotechnical Staff Engineer I to join our team in the New England Area, specifically in Southern New Hampshire.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the investigation and design of earthen structures and roadways
  • Collect and help interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations and measurements, field testing, and other methods
  • Assist in preparing detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports
  • Perform computations and process data using computer software or other established methods
  • Observe and document field activities and prepare construction documentation reports
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation
  • Perform site inspections under the supervision of senior engineers
  • Demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skills
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution focusing on Geotechnical coursework
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience
  • CAD experience a plus
  • Strong calculation skills
  • The ability to interpret work plans
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
