This global multidisciplinary consultancy are seeking a geotechnical site engineer to join their expanding team in Derby. This Geotechnical Site Engineer selected will be assisting with site walkovers, carrying out ground investigations and desk studies, taking soil samples, bore-hole logging, preparing phase plans, writing factual and interpretive reports, working on in situ testing and observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental & geotechnical knowledge.

The successful Geotechnical Site Engineer must:

* Have experience in Geotechnical /Geo-Environmental Engineering.

* Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).

* Be willing to work outdoors and travel for work.

* Hold a full UK driving licence.

* Commutable to Derby and be happy to travel for work.

* Have a full right to work in the UK.
