Job summary

Bennet & Game Recruitment Ltd in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Site Engineer to supervise and deliver ground investigation projects across the UK. This fully site-based role focuses on managing investigations from start to finish, liaising with drilling crews and project teams while ensuring safety, quality and programme requirements are met.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a ground investigation environment, a relevant Geology/Geotechnical qualification, and a full UK

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in ground investigation contracting.
• Knowledge of boreholes, trial pits and in-situ testing.
• Strong health and safety on site.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Geology/Engineering Geology degree desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and deliver ground investigation projects across the UK.
• Organise and oversee site investigations, on-time, to spec.
• Liaise with drilling crews, subcontractors and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.

Salary: GBP32000 - GBP38000 per annum

Position: Geotechnical Site Engineer

Location:Glasgow

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established geotechnical and geoenvironmental contractor for an experienced Site Engineer to join their growing team based in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with a ground investigation contracting background looking to join a respected business offering long-term career progression, excellent benefits and a strong pipeline of projects.

This is a fully site-based role, focused on the delivery and supervision of ground investigation works. There are no office-based or report writing responsibilities, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy being out on site and managing investigations from start to finish.

Geotechnical Site Engineer Salary & Benefits

• 24 days annual leave, increasing by one day per completed year of service (up to 29 days).
