Job summary

Igne Group Limited, Hamilton, is seeking a Reporting Engineer to join the Engineering team. You will review site investigation data, produce high-quality factual and interpretative geotechnical reports, and ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.

The role supports tenders, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining health and safety while delivering reports on time for clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in geotechnical, geological or engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in producing high-quality factual reports and GIRs.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation techniques and industry standards.
• Familiarity with ICC Ground Investigation contracts and CDM 2015 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality factual and interpretative geotechnical reports.
• Review and interpret site investigation data including logs, lab results and monitoring records.
• Manage project data and develop factual logs and preliminary ground models.
• Maintain QA processes to ensure accuracy of deliverables.
• Coordinate laboratory testing programmes and support borehole design.
