We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of impactful projects, including residential and commercial developments, institutional and educational facilities, transportation infrastructure, and utility systems. You will play a key role in both field and office-based tasks that support geotechnical investigations and construction materials testing.

This position is ideal for an engineer who is ready to take ownership of project components, manage field activities, and contribute technical expertise to ensure high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lay out soil boring locations for geotechnical investigations
  • Oversee field data collection and monitor the quality and accuracy of sampling activities
  • Develop geotechnical logs and select representative samples for laboratory testing
  • Supervise field operations related to construction materials testing and manage technician scheduling
  • Perform engineering calculations related to bearing capacity, pile design, and retaining wall structures
  • Review and approve construction materials testing reports prior to client delivery

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering (Masters degree preferred)
  • Three to five years of experience in geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing
  • Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Strong organizational skills, technical accuracy, and a commitment to quality
