Job Description

Make your mark as a Geotechnical Project Engineer! You will carry out office and offshore geotechnical activities in line with industry standards and Gardline principles. Responsibilities include data and sample collection, management, interpretation, and compiling comprehensive geotechnical reports.

Your responsibilities:
  • Collect, manage, interpret high-quality geotechnical data and samples; compile findings into detailed reports.
  • Lead technical communication with clients on offshore geotechnical investigations.
  • Oversee geotechnical laboratory testing, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  • Produce detailed geotechnical reports with operational details, geological conditions, and factual results.
  • Support ongoing offshore projects with technical assistance.
  • Conduct basic offshore laboratory testing and soil/rock logging.
  • Process geotechnical data and prepare results according to standards.
  • Compile and deliver factual geotechnical data in the field.
  • Participate in consultancy activities and internal development projects.
Qualifications and Qualities:
  • BSc or equivalent in Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering.
  • Relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in report writing and data quality control.
  • Clear, honest communication skills and openness to feedback.
  • Ability to travel (passport and driving license required).
  • Right to work in the UK without restrictions.
