Geotechnical Engineer - Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Projects

TGRC is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join a dynamic team in London. This role offers the chance to contribute to significant renewable energy and infrastructure projects and provides a platform for professional growth in a thriving sector.

Position Overview
  • Duration: 12-month fixed-term contract
  • Location: London
  • Experience: 1-2 years (preferably in energy projects)
  • Salary: £40,000 per annum
Job Responsibilities
  • Site Investigation: Planning and supervising ground investigations, including sample collection and in-situ testing.
  • Data Analysis: Interpreting geotechnical data and developing ground models.
  • Design Support: Assisting with the design of earthworks, foundations, and structural elements, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Project Collaboration: Working with project managers and other disciplines for integrated solutions.
  • Risk Management: Identifying geotechnical risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Reporting: Preparing reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in energy projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software and industry standards.
