Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Glasgow is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. You will work on a range of infrastructure, development and environmental projects, performing geotechnical design, ground investigations and site-based work within a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of UK ground conditions and standards.
• Experience in geotechnical analysis and design.

Responsibilities

• Geotechnical design for foundations, retaining structures and earthworks.
• Plan, supervise and interpret ground investigations.
• Prepare geotechnical reports and assess ground conditions.
• Perform slope stability and settlement analyses.
• Assess earthworks and remediation requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise fieldwork.
• Prepare technical specifications and calculations.
• Coordinate with civil, structural and environmental teams.
