Job summary

AF Howland Associates is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Romford team. The role involves delivering ground investigations, interpreting geotechnical data and preparing technical reports while liaising with clients and colleagues across the business.

The successful candidate will typically have around three or more years of relevant industry experience and a proactive approach to developing technical expertise within a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology or Geotechnical/Geo-environmental Engineering.
• Minimum three years' experience in geotechnical or geo-environmental role.
• Experience with UK site investigation techniques.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and supervise ground investigation projects.
• Analyse and interpret geotechnical and geo-environmental data.
• Prepare factual and interpretative reports.
• Support geotechnical design and assessment work.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Assist with project management and technical delivery.
• Contribute to development of new and existing client relationships.
