About the role

We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer and Product Specialist to play a pivotal role in our product development lifecycle, ensuring our offerings meet and exceed customer expectations. This position will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to define product features, specifications, and requirements, aligning them with customer preferences and market trends.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Create, revise, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, manuals, support materials, datasheets, and blog posts
  2. Collaborate with sales on developing complex proposals and promoting products
  3. Represent the company at national and international exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows
  4. Serve as technical lead on customer inquiries and issue resolution
  5. Provide expert advice to customers regarding product processing and properties
  6. Travel to customer sites within the UK and internationally for installation and training
  7. Define product features and specifications aligned with customer preferences
  8. Conduct thorough testing of software and firmware to ensure seamless hardware integration
  9. Collaborate with development teams on test plans and procedures
  10. Identify technical opportunities for mutual growth

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Material Science, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  2. Minimum three years of proven experience in technical service or product management, ideally within technology or engineering sectors
  3. Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and software installation/troubleshooting
  4. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  6. Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  7. Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  8. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies
