This role involves working on various ground investigation projects across the Northeast, including report writing and soil sampling. An exciting new opportunity has presented itself for a Geotechnical Engineer in Leeds. If you are looking to work for a large specialised Geotechnical consultancy, we would love to hear from you.

Although we are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer in Leeds, there are opportunities nationwide as there are offices in London, Exeter, and the Midlands.

You will have the chance to work on interesting ground investigation projects around the Northeast. From large commercial to infrastructure projects, you will be using your geotechnical knowledge to carry out site investigations.

You will get the chance to work on a variety of responsibilities from phase 1 and 2 report writing, soil sampling, logging, groundwater monitoring, risk analysis, remediation design, slope stability and mentoring junior staff.

Essential Criteria:
  • Hold a Geology/Geotechnical Engineering/Engineering Geology
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Live within a commutable distance from the Leeds office
  • Factual and Interpretative report writing would be beneficial but not essential
  • Full rights to work within the UK
