We’re looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Ground Engineering team in London; either Croydon (preferred) or Aldgate.
We work for leading United Kingdom & Ireland (UK&I) and international clients and have a wide range of commissions across all sectors. Current and past projects include National Grid’s Great Grid Upgrade, H2Teesside, High Speed Rail, Network Rail’s Control Point 7 programme, and overseas work such as the Royal Commission of Al Ula and Neom.
You will be joining an established team of Ground Engineers within the South‑East region, based in the AECOM Croydon (preferable) or Aldgate Office, and will work closely with colleagues from across the UK & Ireland.
The position suits a candidate who has experience in applying geotechnical design, can work independently, support junior team members, manage budget/programme deliverables, and provide the geotechnical input to projects from desk study/feasibility through to ground investigation, interpretation, final design, specifications, interpretive reports, construction drawings, and design reports.
