A leading independent ground investigation contractor is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join its growing technical team in Glasgow. Established over 15 years ago, the business delivers geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigations, drilling, in-situ testing, laboratory testing and technical advice across the construction sector.
As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will support and deliver ground investigation projects, including site-based work, soil and drill-core logging, interpreting ground conditions, technical reporting and liaising with clients, consultants and site teams. The role offers exposure to varied and technically interesting projects across Scotland.
The successful Geotechnical Engineer will ideally have experience within ground investigation, geotechnical engineering or a related discipline, with knowledge of site investigation techniques and technical reporting. A relevant degree/HND and familiarity with industry standards such as BS 5930 would be advantageous.
You must hold a full UK driving licence, have full right to work in the UK and be living in or near Glasgow.
