Here at Blueprint, we have an unmissable opportunity suited for you! We are searching for a highly skilled, Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established client in a permanent role, working from their office in Croydon.

Our client is a leading engineering consultancy, offering expertise in a variety of sectors including structures, geotechnical engineering, and land surveying.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for engineering projects.
  • Guide project teams, liaise with clients, and ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop designs and documentation to meet project and technical requirements.
  • Check design documents, calculations, and drawings completed by other engineers.
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior industry experience within bridges, tunnels, stations, and buildings.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • 8+ years of experience in relevant discipline with a proven track record of delivering high-profile projects.
  • Experience with design using various materials e.g., concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.
  • Proficiency with calculations and analysis tools such as Slope W, Settle 3, CADS Pile Suite, PILE, ALP, Kubla Cubed, or similar.
  • 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days.
