Geotechnical Engineer - New Reservoir Project (Chatteris Area)

Are you a Geotechnical Engineer looking for your next contract? We have a fantastic opportunity for a freelance professional to join a dynamic team working on a new, large-scale reservoir project in the Chatteris area. This is a 12-week contract to support the crucial pre-enabling works.

The Role

As a Geotechnical Engineer on this project, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Site investigations and ground-risk assessments.

  • Designing foundations, earthworks, and retaining structures.

  • Slope stability analysis and remediation.

  • Producing technical reports and specifications.

  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and contractors.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably on heavy civils or infrastructure projects.
