Job summary

The American Society of Civil Engineers in Cambridge is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with a strong Ground Investigation background to join a growing consultancy. You will oversee site investigations, compile factual and interpretive reports, perform borehole logging, soil and rock sampling, and groundwater and gas monitoring, while guiding junior staff.

• Have a degree in geotechnical engineering, geoscience or geology (or a similar/relevant subject)
• Have experience in the geoenvironmental and/or geotechnical engineering industry
• Have exceptional communication skills, ideally with experience leading a team and/or supervising junior members
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
• Be commutable to the Cambridge area
• Have a full right to work in the UK
