Position Summary: JMT is currently seeking a full-time Geotechnical Engineer for our headquarters office in Hunt Valley, MD. Project types will include a wide variety of high-profile projects including, highways, bridges, aviation, rail & transit, marine and ports, water and wastewater, and buildings and facilities. Notable projects include Long Bridge North, I-95 ETL Lanes, Harry W Nice/Thomas "Mac" Middelton Bridge Replacement. and Alexandria Waterfront Improvements.
Compensation is $85,000. - $92,000. annually, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications.

Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment. Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
