Job summary

Soil Engineering Geoservices Limited is seeking a skilled operator to run a cable percussion drilling rig on UK sites, drill boreholes, install casing, and oversee sampling and testing. You will maintain drilling logs and ensure setups are safe and efficient.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling and adherence to health and safety practices, with strong planning, problem solving, and communication abilities. Willingness to travel and work on site across the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Land Drilling required.
• Ability to work to a defined health and safety management system.
• Strong planning, organisation and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cable percussion drilling rig to form boreholes.
• Drill boreholes, install casing and oversee sampling and testing; maintain drilling logs.
• Ensure rig is properly set up and maintained to enable efficient drilling and minimize environmental impact.
• Work away on sites across the UK with the operational team and clients.
