AtkinsRéalis Geospatial Survey team uses advanced technology to transform raw survey data gathered from site into powerful decision‑making tools. We offer a comprehensive range of survey and mapping services, from small scale ground‑based survey to wide‑area aerial 3D mapping. Our team works closely with clients to identify a data collection method that meets their project and cost requirements, and to deliver the insight they need; whether that be to inform the design of a new development, optimise the route of new infrastructure or update existing building or site records for asset management purposes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced surveyor looking to work on varied projects, develop their technical expertise and be part of an innovative, industry‑leading geospatial team.

Based in Bristol, Birmingham, Chelmsford, London or the South East, you'll be willing to travel nationwide, with occasional overnight stays and weekend works as required.

  • Use of UAV, GPR or mobile mapping would be advantageous.
  • Experience in topographical, highway, railway or utility surveying.
  • Strong skills in survey data processing, modelling and technical problem solving.
  • Experience producing 3D models and CAD drawings using AutoCAD or MicroStation.
  • A passion for reality capture and a keen interest in newly developing survey technologies.
  • Confidence leading site activities and building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A flexible approach to site work, travel and working in different environments.
