You will join a small team of scientists, developers, and insurance experts, influencing business applications and product development. This role is ideal for those interested in large climate and geospatial data, new technologies, and the insurance industry.

There are significant opportunities for growth and cross-functional impact within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support strategy and implementation for the WEATHER ANALYTIX platform.
  • Process meteorological datasets via partnerships such as with the European Space Agency.
  • Develop models for wildfires, hurricanes, tornados, lightning, earthquakes, and floods.

  • Experience: 2+ years for Junior/Mid; 4+ years for Mid/Senior roles.
  • Proficiency in Python for data and machine learning tasks.
  • Experience with large geospatial datasets.
  • Knowledge of statistical and data science modeling techniques.
  • Understanding of web system architecture and development.
  • Ability to work independently with good project management skills.
  • Proactive attitude and effective team collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, AWS

  • Knowledge of the Insurance Market

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary and incentives
