Job summary

The Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Change and Benefits Manager for Defra's Change Directorate. Based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, you will lead organisational change initiatives, ensuring benefits are identified, tracked and realised across Defra and its arms-length bodies.

You will partner with delivery partners, guide stakeholders, and help embed new ways of working while supporting the Geospatial Programme and related policy work for England.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering organisational change programmes in the public sector.
• Ability to identify, quantify and track realised benefits across multiple bodies.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and impact assessment capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Proactively prepare the business for the impact of organisational change and realise benefits across Defra and its Arm’s Length bodies.
• Act as a bridge between Programme Teams and business users to support effective implementation and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide leadership, guidance and assurance across the programme and ALBs to ensure outcomes are achieved and embedded.
