Overview

Geoscience Consultant — Competitive salary — Liphook, Dundee, Cardiff or Remote

Allen & York are excited to be working with a leading, dynamic consultancy, specialising in offshore engineering, with an established international profile in large-scale submarine cable developments and operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of subsea cable and offshore renewables projects, with emphasis on subsea survey, cable installation, planning and design, risk assessment and project management.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical subject, with comprehensive experience within the offshore hydrographic, geophysical and/or geotechnical survey industry, or experience in the design and installation of subsea infrastructure.
• Familiar with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems and compliance requirements for offshore projects.
• Excellent communicator with ability to liaise with clients, contractors and regulators; skilled at managing work packages or projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues to develop practical and quantified leading-edge solutions.
