An established industry player is seeking a passionate geophysicist to join their dynamic team in Reading. This exciting role involves conducting and supervising magnetometry surveys, ensuring high-quality data collection, and preparing detailed reports. Stantec UK is looking for a geophysicist to join our expanding team in our Reading or Bristol offices (other southern England offices may also be considered). The geophysicist will carry out and supervise magnetometry surveys for a range of projects, ensuring that they are completed to a high standard. The team carries out surveys across the UK, with a focus on our major water, highways, and infrastructure clients.
The Geophysical Survey Team is part of Stantec's wider Archaeology and Heritage Team, which provides high-quality historic environment consultancy advice and delivery of technical documents for all types of schemes, from small through to nationally important schemes, and there would be opportunities to gain experience in this area as part of this role.
As a Geophysicist, you will conduct and oversee magnetometry surveys for various projects, primarily in Southern England. Your responsibilities will include:
