Geologist / Engineering Geologist

Are you interested in geotechnical ground investigation for construction? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Geologist and play a vital role in our business success.

As our company grows, we are expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Geologist to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are looking for reliable, flexible, and driven Geologists to join our Geotechnical Team. You will be involved in a variety of projects across the country. It is important to be proactive and independent, while also being a strong team player. Good management skills and industry experience are vital for success in this role.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Confident in ground investigation techniques
  • Preparing Health & Safety documentation for site works and managing safety of operatives
  • Planning, supervising, and programming Ground Investigation projects across the UK
  • Logging soil and rock according to specifications and BS5930:2015+A1:2020

Requirements:

  • Degree in a Geotechnical discipline
  • Full UK Driving Licence
