Description

We are currently seeking a Geologist to join our Land & Minerals team. The role is based at Pinnacle House, Breedon on the Hill, with some travel expected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report to the Senior Geologist, providing geological support and advice to our aggregates business.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quarries Regulations 1999, utilizing 3D modelling to prepare earthworks designs and quarry development plans that promote safe and efficient mineral extraction.
  • Assist in developing the company’s mineral replenishment strategy, from desk-based strategic searches to the design, costing, and management of site investigation projects and mineral resource assessments, following company reporting standards.
  • Adapt to fast-paced environments, making timely decisions, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Hold an Honours degree in Geology or a related Earth Science field and be working towards Chartered Geologist status. Proficient in MS Office and quick to learn new software.

This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career Geologist eager to travel and expand their knowledge of the extractive industry.
