  4. Conduct and manage the structural and reservoir modelling studies and well target identification for appraisal and/or development wells which are performed in compliance with QA/QC tools to define accurate well target locations and to meet the set well objectives.
  5. Conduct the planning (subsurface scenario planning) and geological support (e.g., pre-drill data package) of drilling operations in line with the defined deliverables within the Petrogas Project Management Process and company standard formats to attain the set well objectives.
  6. Build and maintain the G&G database in line with agreed filing standards and formats to ensure that all available data is kept up to date and easily accessible.

  • Conveying geological concepts to other disciplines.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field (e.g., Environmental Science, Geophysics, or Geological Engineering). Equivalent qualifications and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Extensive relevant experience in the Central and Southern North Sea environment is preferred, with a proven track record in similar roles and responsibilities (experience with an operator is desirable).
  • Strong geological knowledge for conceptual modelling, drilling integration, and reservoir model-building.
  • Proficient in structural geology and 3D static model construction.
  • Solid understanding of petrophysical analysis and quality assurance.
  • Experienced in volume estimation with uncertainty analysis (e.g., saturation, facies, flow units).
  • Skilled at cross-disciplinary communication and operational support.
