Job summary

A secondary school in Maidstone, Kent is looking to appoint a confident Geography Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting immediately.

The successful candidate will deliver Geography across KS3 and KS4, including two Year 11 GCSE classes, and teach to the AQA GCSE Geography specification with engaging, challenging lessons.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or has relevant secondary teaching experience.
• Experience teaching Geography to KS3 and KS4.
• Available to start immediately and willing to teach GCSE Year 11.

Responsibilities

• Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver two Year 11 GCSE Geography classes.
• Plan, deliver engaging and challenging lessons aligned with AQA GCSE.
• Assess, mark and monitor pupil progress.
• Collaborate with humanities colleagues and support GCSE revision.
